Terms and Conditions

Onsite Registration

The last day to pre-register for the Conference is May 29 by Midnight. After that, registrations will only be accepted onsite. You may collect your badge and registration materials at the MRIA Registration Desk located at the Sheraton on the Falls. Materials may not be picked up for another person.

Badges

Your MRIA 2014 Conference badge must be worn for admittance to all keynotes, concurrent sessions and non-ticketed events.

Early Bird Deadline - CLOSED

The Early Bird Deadline is now CLOSED. To qualify for discounted early bird rates, your registration must have been processed and received by the MRIA office on or before April 30, 2014.


Registration Categories

Full Conference

This registration includes all plenary and concurrent sessions, breakfasts, lunches, refreshment breaks, participation to the Speed Networking event and one ticket for the Welcome Reception & Tradeshow Opening Party, the Saskatoon Speakeasy: Boomrown Blast & River Rides and the Gala Awards Dinner – A Vaudevillian Evening of Fun & Celebration.

Student Registrations

Students must be either MRIA student members or they must provide proof of full-time enrollment in a post-secondary institution to receive student rates. This registration includes all items listed above except the Speed Networking event.


Registration Confirmation

Processing of Registrations

Upon your online registration, you will receive an immediate confirmation of your registration as soon your payment is processed. Payments by credit card are processed through MRIA's Office - as such your credit card statement will reflect a charge from MRIA.

If you wish to pay a registration with credit card where payment by cheque was originally selected please contact Erica Klie at 1-888-602-6742 ext. 8727.

Cheques should be made payable to MRIA and mailed to the following address: MRIA, Attn: Conference Registration Department, 94 Cumberland Street, Suite 601, Toronto, ON, M5R 1A3. Please note: Your registration will not be confirmed until your payment has been received by MRIA.

Substitutions

If you are unable to attend the Conference after registering, you may send someone in your place. E-mail your replacements name to events@mria-arim.ca before midnight on May 29, 2014. Please note that if a non MRIA member replaces an MRIA member the difference in rates are payable. Only one substitution per registration is allowed.

Cancellation Policy

A 50% refund of your paid registration will be granted for written cancellations received before midnight on May 29, 2014. All requests must be made in writing and e-mailed to events@mria-arim.ca. MRIA will process all refunds after the Conference. No exceptions will be made.

No refunds or credits will be granted to cancellations received after midnight on May 29.

No refunds or credits will be granted for no-shows.


Payment Terms

Net 30 Days:
Payment of the full invoice amount is required within 30 days from the invoice date and no later that the final registration deadline, whichever is sooner.


Privacy Protection

The MRIA 2014 Conference recognizes the importance of privacy and the sensitivity of personal information. As researchers and marketers, we have an obligation to manage your information consistent with professional practice. This privacy policy outlines how we use your personal information and safeguard your privacy.

What personal information do we collect?

Personal information is any information that identifies you, or by which your identity could be deduced. We collect personal information directly from you when you register for MRIA 2014 Conference and will collect further personal information if you participate in Conference evaluation surveys.

Consent

By registering, you are consenting to

i. the collection and use of your personal information for the purposes of registering and attending the MRIA 2014 Conference, including related administrative requirements, as well as for receiving additional information including news and surveys about MRIA Conferences.

ii. the publication of your name and Corporate affiliation online and in the printed program distributed at the MRIA 2014 Conference.

iii. the distribution of your electronic contact data to MRIA 2014 Conference sponsors.
If you do not wish to consent to the publication of your contact data as described in paragraphs ii and iii above, you must check the Privacy Policy field included on the registration form or if missed during registration advise MRIA immediately in writing. Please note that until the written request has been received and processed by MRIA your information may be included in promotional material and/or published in print or online. E-mail request to events@mria-arim.ca.

By completing evaluation surveys, you are consenting to the collection and use of personal information for the purposes of administrative assessment of MRIA conferences.

Other than distribution for legitimate purposes as referenced in this section, MRIA 2014 Conference does not disclose your personal information to third parties.

Onsite Photography

A conference photographer will be onsite at MRIA 2014 Conference, and may take posed or candid shots of presenters, delegates and others during Conference-hosted events. These images may be posted on the MRIA 2014 Conference website, on the MRIA main national site, or published in VUE magazine. By registering for MRIA 2014 Conference, you are consenting to the use of photographs which become the property of MRIA for use in Association collateral.

Securing Personal Information

MRIA 2014 Conference will take all reasonable precautions to ensure that your personal information is kept safe from loss, unauthorized access, or disclosure, whether collected directly by the MRIA 2014 Conference administration or by third parties for evaluation purposes.

Changes to the Programs or Social Activities

The Conference organizers reserve the right to limit seating availability, adjust, change and/or cancel the programs and/or social activities as necessary.
